Tatoi and Chui
Mildred and Winifred, nicknamed Tatoi and Chui, are 9 year old Abysinnian cats. Abys have a wild look that enthralls onlookers. Their behavior is typically gentle, curious, lively and friendly.
Tatoi jumps into visitors' laps and licks their faces. When the family's only daughter, Louise, was a baby, Tatoi slept in her crib and kept a close watch on Louise when she was a toddler. Chui meows for attention and bumps heads with those who are closest to her.
UPDATE: In July 2010, Chui died of a diabetic stroke. She was on insulin but we were unable to find the right balance. She died at home with her family and friends. As you may already know, her sister, Tatoi, died of kidney failure in 2008. They were fine old girls and will be sorely missed.
